Working principle and characteristics of cartridge pulse dust collector
1. Working principle of cartridge pulse dust collector
After the dust-containing gas enters the hopper of the dust collector, due to the sudden expansion of the air flow cross-section, some coarse dust particles in the air flow settle down under the action of gravity and inertial force. After fine particles and low-density dust particles enter the filter chamber, through the combined effects of Brownian diffusion and screening, the dust particles are deposited on the surface of the filter material. The purified gas enters the clean air chamber and is discharged from the exhaust pipe through the fan.
The resistance of the cartridge pulse dust collector increases with the increase in the thickness of the dust layer on the surface of the filter material. When the resistance reaches a certain value, the dust is removed. At this time, the pulse controller controls the opening and closing of the electromagnetic pulse valve. When the pulse valve is opened, the compressed air in the air bag will eject a high-speed and high-pressure jet air flow through the small hole on the blow pipe through the pulse valve, thereby forming an induced defect flow 1-2 times the volume of the jet air flow, and enters the dust filter cartridge together, causing the dust filter cartridge to generate instant positive pressure, inflation and micro-movement. The dust deposited on the filter material of the cartridge pulse dust collector falls off and falls into the ash hopper. The dust in the ash hopper is continuously discharged through the unloader.
This pulse jet cleaning method removes the dust on the filter cartridges one by one. The opening and closing of the pulse valve generates a pulse action at a time, and the required time is 0.1 ~ 0.2s; the time interval between two adjacent switches of the pulse valve is 1 ~ 2 minutes, and the time required for all filter cartridges to complete a cleaning cycle is 10 ~ 30 minutes. Since this equipment uses low-pressure pulse cleaning, the injection time should be appropriately extended according to the resistance of the equipment, while the injection interval and injection period should be appropriately shortened.
Due to the emergence of new filter materials and improvements in dust collector design, cartridge pulse dust collectors have been used in dust removal projects. The cartridge dust collector has the advantages of small size and high efficiency.

2. Structure of cartridge pulse dust collector
The filter element of the cartridge pulse dust collector is a filter cartridge. The structure of the filter cartridge is divided into four parts: top cover, metal frame, pleated filter material and base.
The cartridge-type pulse dust collector folds the filter material of the designed length into pleats and glues the ends into a cylinder. The inside and outside of the cylinder are supported by a metal frame, and the top and bottom are fixed by a top cover and a base. There are fixing bolts and washers on the top cover.
Dust collector structure: The dust collector consists of an air inlet pipe, an air outlet pipe, a box, an ash hopper, a dust cleaning device, a filter cartridge and an electronic control device.
The arrangement of the filter cartridge in the dust collector is very important. The filter cartridge can be installed vertically on the box panel or tilted on the panel, fixed with bolts and attached with rubber pads. The lower part of the plate is the filter chamber, and the upper part is the clean air chamber. In addition to bolting the filter cartridge
three. Characteristics of cartridge pulse dust collector The characteristics of cartridge dust collector are as follows:
(1) Due to the use of pleated filter materials with high arrangement density, the dust collector has a compact structure and small size, and the performance of the filter material should be tough.
②The filter cartridge has a small height, is easy to install, and requires little maintenance work;
③The filtration area of the dust collector of the same volume is relatively large, the filtration wind speed is small, and the resistance is small; ④The folding of the filter material requires tight sealing at both ends and no air leakage, otherwise the effect will be reduced.
DFL cartridge dust collector performance
The DFL series dust collector uses an extra-long filter cartridge, which is installed vertically from the top, and is particularly effective in removing high-concentration dust.
Dust-laden airflow enters the air box from the upper air inlet, and the airflow is evenly distributed to the filter element through the baffle. Under the action of the filter element, dust is adsorbed on the surface of the filter element, and the purified gas is discharged through the outlet pipe. Under the control of the controller, the pulse valve takes turns to clean the dust from the filter element. Since the filter element is installed vertically, it can ensure good dust cleaning effect.
In addition, the more convenient method is the automatic locking device and the gluing device, which are very convenient to install and maintain.
The cartridge-type pulse dust collector has been accepted by many manufacturers due to its irreplaceable advantages in the field of small air volume. Now Lin'an Zhijiang Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. produces small air volume cartridge dust collectors, a series of cartridge dust collectors from 1,000 air volumes to 30,000 air volumes, which can fully meet the dust removal needs in the dust field of workshops.
